Famous Hindu Temples in Vancouver Canada
There are some Hindu Temples in Vancouver that I have tried to cover below
1. Subramaniya Swamy Temple - Located at No 5 Road (Richmond).
The temples remains open on all the days except Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm and then from 5 pm to 8pm. On Saturdays and Sundays the Subramaniya Swamy Temple opens from 10am to 2 pm only.
2. Richmond Murugan Temple
Richmond Murugan Temple is located at the River Road (Richmond) and devotees can be a part of the daily Pooja that takes place here at 10 am and 6 pm
3. Hindu Temple Burnaby
Hindu Temple Burnaby is located at Marine Drive Burnaby. At atmosphere of the temple us very calm and peaceful. It is one of the very popular temples here.
4. ISKCON Vancouver
ISKCON Vancouver is also located at Marine Dr, Burnaby and is one of the largest Hindu temples of Vancouver. Devoted to Lord Krishna mainly but idols of other Hindu Gods and Goddesses are also there.
5. Shiv Mandir Vancouver
Shiv Mandir is located at Dorset Street of Burnaby and is a popular temple visited by the Hindus.
6. Shree Mahalakshmi Hindu Temple Vancouver
Shree Mahalakshmi Hindu Temple is loacted at 11th Avenue of Vancouver and is devoted to Goddess Mahalakshmi. There are idols of other Hindu Gods present there as well.
7. Sri Ganesh Temple Society of BC
Sri Ganesh Temple Society of BC is located at Fraser Street of Vancouver and is a popular place for Hindus. You get a good vibe once you enter the temple. Hindus usually visit Sri Ganesh Temple Society of BC for Pooja and for offering prayers you need to take a ticket. The upcoming Poojas are usually displayed on the screen as well.
8. Thurkadevi Temple
Thurkadevi Temple is loacted at the Edmonds Street of Burnaby. It is mostly visited by Indians from Tamil Nadu. Most of the devotees who visit the Thurkadevi Temple praise it as they feel like home in the temple premises.
